5116HOY-HOY! Started out as a trio based on the early blues of the Texas band, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, who were themselves fans of earlier artist’s including Slim Harpo.

Being remnants of Adelaide bands The Flyers and Mickey Finn , it was not long before original tunes written by South Australian artists became a part of the show. Tunes penned by Don Morrison, David Blight, Dave Small, and Frank are featured here, as well as some borrowed old ones like Too Late, 300 pounds, Dr. feelgood’s night time and Extra Jimmies.

See them Sunday 8th from 6 pm!

Double WammyYour last chance to see Double Wammy at the Semaphore Workers Club in January this year is Sunday the 25th! Of course, they’ll be back, but you want to see them in January, like everybody else, don’t you? Of fuggin’ course you do.

The Semaphore Workers Club is THE home for Roots and Blues music in South Australia. And even if you think Double Wammy is a bucket of poo with sticks shoved in the top, you can still sit on the veranda, sip an icy Coopers Pale and enjoy a view across Gulf St John Vincent that millionaires would pay a million bucks for. So get on down to Semaphore, bring your friends (if you have any) or your partner, pardner, and rock till your socks rot with Double Wammy this Sunday, January 25. LIve music kicks off around 5 pm.

Dec 14 - Double Wammy

Double WammyLate breaking news! A fortunate (for some) gig shuffling has given the world (yes, the world! No point underplaying your hand) a rare (uncooked, that is) opportunity to witness Double Wammy ripping the bag - and spilling the marbles - at the Semaphore Workers Club on Sunday Evening, December 14.

Unrehearsed, tired and emotional, they will be; perhaps they won’t have cleaned their teeth since breakfast and might not be all that nice to get next to; perhaps one of them will be in a snaky mood (probably) but that’s what it’s like when you’ve got the world’s Number 1  - that’s Number Three Minus Two - exponents of …. shit, i’ve forgotten what they’re good at … oh yes… the premier Power Soul … thingamajigs on stage.

At the Semaphore Workers Club. Sunday evening. At Semaphore. Did i say they were Double Wammy!? Anyway, it’s them.
